How to get to the Robertson Show

By Car

> Follow the A48 Illawarra Highway into Robertson (the road is called Hoddle Street through the town of Robertson)

> Turn onto Caalong Street then take the second right onto High Street – be aware High St is a bit bumpy pot holes at the moment!

> You’ll then take the first left into the showground.

Accessibility information

Parking

There are a limited number of disabled parking spaces within the Robertson Showground. These disable parking spaces must be booked by sending a request for a space to admin@robertsonshow.org.au or phoning 02 4885 1620 from 26th September to 14th October (Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm).

If you miss out, you can drop off a disabled passengers at the drop off point near the pavilion and then go and park.

Toilets

The showground has a wheelchair accessible toilet block with a stall to accommodate a wheelchair.

Pavilion

Wheelchair entry to the pavilion is via the ramp at the western side of the building.

Information Centre

The information centre is at the western end of the Pavilion.

We ask you keep in mind all our staff are volunteers. We will do our best to help you in a timely manner however as we are a small team we may be busy with other tasks, therefore we appreciate your patience.

First Aid

If you require first aid please go directly to the First Aid tent next to the Centre Ring and in front of the bar.

COVID 19 Information

  • The health and safety of our visitors and competitors, volunteers and the community, is our top priority. COVID-19 presents us with an unprecedented situation and as government guidance is evolving, we will provide, on Facebook – Robertson Show prior to the Show, current measures and safety
    protocols that will apply at the Show.
  • Please stay home if you are sick or are considered high risk.
  • You may respectfully be asked to leave the Showground if you do not comply with guidelines, including following all hygiene and physical distancing guidelines. Should this occur to a competitor or visitor, entry fees will not be refunded.
  • Marshalls will be on site. We ask that you be polite and follow their directions
  • All visitors and participants shall practice social distancing consistent with government guidelines in effect at the time. Participants shall avoid congregating to the extent possible.
  • The wearing of masks will be subject to the current COVID rules.
  • The number of people allowed in the Pavilion at any one time will be in line with the COVID requirements in place at the time of the show.
  • There will be one entrance and one exit to the pavilion.
  • Sanitiser will be provided around the grounds, at ring and building entrances for use by exhibitors.
  • Participants shall avoid shaking hands, hugging or other physical contact.
  • Sign in with QR code will be subject to the current COVID rules.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – EXHIBITORS, COMPETITORS & STALL HOLDERS REQUIREMENT UNDER WORK HEALTH & SAFETY ACT 2011

  • Any person using electrical equipment (power leads/devices/ appliances etc) whilst on the Showground is required to ensure that such equipment is fitted with earth leakage circuit breakers & that all such leads/appliances/devices etc have been inspected & tagged by a licensed electrical contractor.
  • Persons who do not comply with the above regulations will not be permitted to exhibit, operate a stand/stall, or compete on the show ground.
  • Robertson A & H Society Inc. reserves the right to disconnect any electrical leads/devices/equipment that do not comply with the above regulation.
  • To avoid problems arising in regard to the above regulations it is advised that you check your electrical equipment BEFORE you come to the Showground. Electrical leads are not permitted to be trailed along the ground unprotected from the power source.
  • The Show Society appreciates your co-operation.

ACCIDENT & PUBLIC RISK INSURANCE:

Any accident occurring during the period of the Show must be reported to the Secretary’s Office, and verified, during the current dates of the Show, otherwise the Robertson Show Society will accept NO responsibility for the consideration of any claims.
